Jeremy Stone

Co-Founder, Medical Futures

Jeremy Stone trained as a surgeon and academic intensivist with interests in Doppler flowmetry and cardiac/cerebral auto regulation in zero, positive and 1g environments. He flew with the European Space Agency and was a certified Mission Specialist.

After business school, he spent much of the nineties in healthcare strategy consulting as well as
investing actively as a business angel. Latterly he led the healthcare division of an international
NYSE firm and co-led its carve-out onto NASDAQ. He has invested-in, founded, backed or led
more than 60 start-ups/buy-outs, the most successful of which is now a UK FTSE 100. He has
had the usual rollercoaster of entrepreneurship and has the scars to show. His interests span life
sciences, aviation, financial services, green tech and technology.

He co-founded Medical Futures, the UK’s leading healthcare innovation network which in the
last decade has identified and helped develop more early-stage life science firms than any other.
